Seitz profiled on ESPN.com

By: Ian Rose | May 21st, 2007

Yeah, it’s late, and this is a pretty sad excuse for a post, but there’s a nice little interview with RSL backup keeper and US U-20 starter Chris Seitz on ESPN.com right now. Here’s the link. The U-20 World Cup is just around the corner, and Seitz is getting ready to shine on the world stage, even if a noticeably smaller one than the “real” World Cup. He’s a talented kid, and even though Nick Rimando’s looked better lately (those two goals Dallas scored this week would have gotten by ANYONE), Seitz is still a very serious challenger for that spot.

Nice article on Seitz. I really want this kid to turn out for us. I don’t think he’ll be around long if he reaches his potential. It really is too bad that he got off to a shakey start due to a lack of sound defense in front of him (and from what I can see,MLS is much faster and more physical than college). I hope he has a good showing at the Worlds.
