RSL Has Now Acheived Back To Back Wins. What Can Supporters Expect For The Rest Of The Season?
By: Wiz | September 4th, 2007Typical of this season. When RSL seems to get hot they either have a layoff or a friendly. Now after beating KC and LA we have to face two of the best teams in the MLS at their respective stadiums. DC United and Houston are tough to beat when they visit Rice-Eccles let alone facing them on the road. Now the real test comes. Can RSL take points from these two teams on the road? I personally think, and I have no reason to base this argument on, that we will have an easier time with DC. Call me crazy.
There has been some comments about the starting lineup for the forwards. I thought the combination of Aleko and Espindola up front and Morales, Beckerman and Talley in the midfield looked good. But put Robbie up front with ALeko and Espindola and you have a lethal combination! Mantilla and Pope as centerbacks with Wingert or Kotchau on the left and the hard as iron skull (did you see the collision of heads against KC? Ouch!) of Kipre on the right.
Thanks for the comments. Keep them coming.
