RSL blog is up and kicking

Welcome to the brand spanking new Real Salt Lake blog on The Offside. It’s been a while since you’ve seen “Salt Lake” and “spanking” in the same sentence, hasn’t it? Warning: there’s probably going to be an abundance of Utah and Mormon jabs mixed in with the coverage. I was a Utah resident for a while - I feel like I’m allowed. We are here, however, for the team. Will Freddy Adu be the spark that pushes RSL out of the duldrums of seasons past? Will there even BE an RSL at the end of this season, or will the team follow stadium money elsewhere? Real Salt Lake is maybe the biggest question mark in the entire MLS, and we’ll be here, day by day, sticking our nose where it does and doesn’t belong to find out whether it will be come-from-behind success or continuing failure in Salt Lake. One way or the other, it ought to be interesting.
