p.s. how come my posts never get a little flag saying where I’m posting from, do I have to tell someone, can I make it up?

diane, on my screen it says Canada. Is it correct, at least?

Non-bloggers should also realize that we are somewhat handicapped by our team affiliations. I think most of us feel some need to be loyal. So even if we think our team’s gonna get its butt kicked (which I DON’T! of course not!) we feel a need to say we think we’ll at least get a draw. Which gives outsiders an advantage.

Let’s remember though - non-blogger doesn’t necessarily mean non-fan. They might be just as biased as us. Well, as biased as me. Nobody’s as biased a Laurie.

Biased???? If that were true then I would have put the Chivas win at 7-0 over the gals instead of 5-0 ………
I am just a little enthusiastic

I hope I gave you all a big enough headstart.

Hi Sam, I am about to show how COMPLETELY ignorant of all things blog, computer, internet, I am: your post says “posted from Canada” but I still don’t see any location on my posts (this is my way of asking whether it says Canada below my posts on your screen, I’m in the U.S. btw). Dazed and confused…although I stick with my picks!

In fact I do have a big bias: I’m a big RBNY fan.

Once more into the breach…
Columbus v. LA (Open Cup) [1-3 LA (Landon freak-out)]
KC v. Toronto [3-0...still no goals for you, ha!]
Dallas v. RBNY [0-1...I still believe]
Toronto v. KC [1-1...home-field magic]
Columbus v. DC [2-1...I'll pile on with several of you]
LA v. Chivas [0-0...classic derby]Dallas v. NE [2-1...can't explain]
Houston v. Chicago [0-1...and it'll be boring]RSL v. Colorado [1-3...I'll keep calling till they win]
Wow. What’s with all the damn games? Those who travel over to my site will discover on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday that I’ll make totally different predictions over there.

Excellent. I was getting worried that Mr. Bull was abandoning our little pool. Everyone from the first week is now back in, and we’ve brought in five new people for a total of 13 contestants. Good luck everybody.

Diane, you post says “posted from United States” with a little US flag on my screen.
And Ian: “Nobody’s as biased a Laurie”? You are so wrong. My real bias will only kick in if (Wait! Did I say IF? I mean WHEN! WHEN!!!) Zidane comes to the Galaxy. THEN you will see bias. But only because he will be the catalyst that brings out the true superiority of my team.

Tuesday’s game is now closed for prediction … because its over … and that’s the past … and prediction only counts if its the future. Anyway, congratulations to our two, count-em, one-two, newcomer exact predictors of the game, Laurie and Tom. And they’re both bloggers. Perhaps team blogger will not lose to team not-blogger after all.

This is just like March madness, you’re never allowed to feverishly go back and redo the rest of your picks after getting the first wrong
!
Thanks for my little flag update Laurie, hoped for a minute that I could pick someplace exotic to represent, but since no one else claimed to be posting from Fiji I guess I should have known…Posted from

Curse my maternal instinct! I didn’t want to make Toronto feel bad, so I gave them a goal. Otherwise I’d still be perfect!!

It’s a mean world, Laurie … and as soon as you realize that, and stop giving niceness goals, you’ll own us all at this contest if you keep up like this … 9 points in two matches. Yikes.

The System is refusing to allow me to look at my picks for the week. I can’t get it to go back before the most recent 25 posts. I know I picked NY. Right? I’m guessing three points for me?

You should check the SCOREBOARD … 3 points? Try another five points. You have 14 points in 3 games, which happens to be exactly as many as I have in 9 games. Insane. Any stock picks?
