MLS Predictor League: Peter takes over!
By: Ian Rose | May 6th, 2007Hey everyone - sorry for the silence of the RSL blog over this exciting weekend - I was far from my computer and will be catching up in the next few days with reactions to the 3-3 draw with New York and a look ahead to our new options now that Kreis is coach.
For tonight, though, I wanted to update the Predictor League. The standings are HERE. Most of us had a major problem with predicting this week’s matches, especially the RSL-NY draw and the DC win, but Peter took advantage and has now jumped ahead to a nine-point overall lead, the biggest of the competition so far. I’ll post the week’s games tomorrow. Thanks, everybody, for taking part.

I reckon the sun even shines on a dog’s ass occasionally.

Wow, peter … I can’t tell if that’s poetic or just really weird …

It is a quote from someone I can’t remember. Seems apropos in this situation. I’ll do my best to lose the lead next week.

Yes, that would be much appreciated by the rest of the field. I have been taking one for the team by staying at or around the exact middle of the league table the entire time. If only I had been raised less honestly … so much potential for cheating, and nothing!
