Everton FC Brings The First Team To Salt Lake
By: Wiz | July 19th, 2007Everton FC isn’t pulling any punches. They are planning on bringing the first squad for the friendly against RSL. Will Jason Kreis do the same? With Boca Jr.’s coming just a couple of days after the Everton Match and then just another couple of days for a regular season match-up, how will coach Kreis manage the roster? I wonder if the boys are flipping a coin to see who gets which game. I do hope we put up a decent fight. At the same time, our focus should be on our own season! Maybe the boys from England will have a hard time with the turff and we can sneak a few goals into the back of the net before they get accustomed to the surface.
The Everton squad for the tour is: Tim Howard, Iain Turner, Phil Jagielka, Phil Neville, Tony Hibbert, Joleon Lescott, Joseph Yobo, Alan Stubbs, Mikel Arteta, Anderson de Silva, Lee Carsley, Leon Osman, Nuno Valente, James Beattie, Andrew Johnson, James McFadden, Victor Anichebe.
Howard, Arteta and Johnson will be the ones I’ll be keeping an eye on.
