Defense Still A Problem.

By: Wiz | September 13th, 2007

It is too bad that Rimando can’t be everywhere. He stops shots on goal, breakaways, free kicks and even penalty kicks. But when our keeper needs help…corners, and free kicks within 20 yrds. or so, he is let down again and again! Twice an unmarked man put a header past Rimando. The question could be asked, why our team captain and former US international center back wasn’t in the lineup?!! I am looking for some consistency in the lineup…the telltale sign of a solid team, and I just don’t see it. I thought we would matched up well but just didn’t get it done…again.

Hey, fantasy advice . . . next week you guys are playing LA and Colorado. Think you can pull off two wins?

I think LA is a win. We always have trouble with Colorado. This will be a blood match with the recent trades and the history of the fued between the two teams. I don’t see us losing to the Rapids but in a rivalry match who knows.
