Battle For The Basement Ends In Draw.

By: Wiz | September 20th, 2007

So we bring in Kyle Brown when Morales is available? The minute that guy (Morales) comes in there is a tangible energy increase on the field. It was K. Brown’s blown defensive assignment that made Kipre come up to pressure the ball that then led to the through ball that led to Kipre’s tackle in the box. Jean-Martial was left hanging there to apply both pressure and cover on two guys…both of whom were in scoring position! It is substitutions and play like that keeps us in a draw at home against the worst team in MLS. Nothing less than a win last night would have been acceptable. (It is obvious to me that the Argentines play at different levels and expectations. Yura Muv…had a solid night and impressed me with his fitness at altitude. Andy Williams had a solid night as well.) With that, I have nothing more to say.
