An early thank you to Eddie Pope

He’s been with the team since the beginning. Prior to RSL’s 2005 inaugural season, one of our major pickups was Eddie Pope. A consistent national team starter and member of three U.S. World Cup teams. 12 years in the league, 231 games. Perhaps the best defender in U.S. professional and international soccer history. There will be much more on this blog as the season goes on about the retirement announcement from Eddie Pope, but for now, we’ll just leave it at “Thanks”.
